What would you prepare for your Dog if Kibble had never been invented? 

If kibble never existed and we were prepering food for our Dogs, What are the basics a dogs need? Im really excited about this!

Its actually quite simple... A raw or lightly cooked diet with quality meats, veggies, eggs, organ meats, and bones (whole, ground or gound bone meal) can give dogs everything they need, if you're up for prepping your Dogs meals daily. 

To make sure they have taurine in their diet, which is essential for digestion and reducing anxiety give them plenty of heart meat as it's loaded with taurine. Beef heart, chicken heart, or turkey heart would be my top 3 and you can find them in some supermarkets or ask your local Butchers. Other essential things include protein from muscle meats and organs, calcium from bones or ground eggshell, omega-3 fatty acids from fish or fish oil, and a good mix of vitamins and minerals from organ meats and vegetables. I'd also add a little fiber from veggies or sweet potato to keep their digestion happy. As a pet nutritionist i can advise you on the right balance if you have any questions just ask?
For a small dog, you'd grind the bones into a fine powder first—either with a strong food processor or by buying this Pre Ground Bone Meal You can also use finely crushed eggshells as an easy calcium alternative or buy Egg Shell Powder .
