Pumpkin Powder or Puree? ๐ŸŽƒ

Magical Stuff!
Should your dogs have any digestive issues then adding pumpkin puree to your dogs daily or weekly diet helps them with many issues like diarrhea and/or constipation due to its fiber.

Magical Stuff!
If your dog is overweight then pumpkin puree aids in weight management because it promotes fullness for more hours (stops dog begging and you over feeding).

Pumpkin is not just for dogs with issues, It is a fantastic addition to your dogs regular diet as it provides essential vitamins (A, C, E) and minerals (potassium, iron) for immune, skin, eye, and muscle health. It is low in calories and also hydrating. Pureed is best as it is much more easily digested if you are preparing the pumpkin yourself.

Pumpkin is a low-calorie addition that supports overall well-being and is often recommended by vets for mild stomach upsets. Rice and chicken is no longer reccomended as dogs should have ZERO grains in their diet, the majority of demosticated dogs have intolerance to grains like wheat, corn or soy and rice is just a filler with no nutritional value along with irritating the stomachs lining its no longer reccomended for stomach upsets. Chicken is fine as long as your dog is not intolerent or allergic. White fish is great too if you want a meal gentle on the stomach to compliment the pumpkin.

A can of magical pumpkin puree lasts between 3-5 meals depending on the size of your dog. With the cans of Pumpkin, most often Vet reccomended to relieve constipation, we tend to use when needed rather than all the time. These are high quality but the more expensive way of adding pumpkin to your dogs diet. Here is my Amazon Associates link to the pumpkin puree we use Pumpkin Puree Tins these are 100% pumpkin and no salt!

If you have a bum scooting, constipated dog or a dog with regularly loose stools then adding Pumpkin Powder as a meal topper more regularly to their meals will provide the benefits faster and longer benefits over time.  Its a much more cost effective way, using the powder rather than cans. The powder either mixed with water or just sprinkled on your dogs meal adds the same goodness to your dogs diet as the puree cans but the powder lasts much longer. You can mix with warm or cold water to make a paste (or pumpkin sauce) or you can just sprinkle the powder onto the cold pressed or kibble meal. Here is my Associates link to the powder we use everyday! Pumpkin Powder every morning meal.
Due to the powders rich fiber content, it acts as a prebiotic for gut flora and provides essential nutrients like Vitamins, Potassium, and Iron for a constant immune system boost thus helping to improve skin, coat, and eye health. It's a versatile, natural supplement that supports overall vitality, Magical Stuff!

As always, ask me anything!
